Centre for Fathering Ltd (UEN 200101825N) is a registered charity with IPC status in Singapore. This notice explains what we collect when you register for one of our events at events.fathering.sg, why we collect it, and who holds it. It is written to meet our obligations under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and mobile number, entered at checkout.
- The birth year of your youngest child. The year only, never a full date of birth.
- Your answer to “Keep me updated on future events?”.
- Payment details of the registration: the amount, the currency and whether it was paid, free or refunded. We never see or hold your card number.
- How you reached the event page: the campaign link you followed and the advertising identifiers your browser sends with it. This is held for seven days and is not linked to your name.
Why we collect it
To register you for the event, take payment, confirm your place and contact you about the event you signed up for. We also count registrations by event and by campaign so we know which of our invitations reach fathers.
Who holds it
- Stripe processes the payment and holds your contact details as part of that record.
- Centre for Fathering holds one row per registration on a restricted internal list. Only staff who run events can open it.
- Meta receives your email address and phone number in an encrypted, one-way scrambled form so it can measure whether our advertising worked. Your actual email address and number are never sent.
Our event dashboards and internal alerts hold counts only, with no personal details in them.
Marketing
We contact you about future events only if you answered yes to “Keep me updated on future events?” at checkout. Answering no does not affect your registration. You can change your mind at any time by writing to us.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 you may ask us what personal data we hold about you and how we have used it, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to further use. We will respond within a reasonable time.
